Peanut Butter Funk w/ The Busy Twist

After 2 amazing parties at The Book Club, which saw Reginald Omas Mamode, Nubiyan Twist, Me & My Friends and XOA funkin’ up our basement club, Peanut Butter Funk is back this June!

For part 3, we’re bringing along one of our favourite DJ duo's of the moment, in the form of The Busy Twist! Hailing from London, The Busy Twist is preoccupied with bridging the ever-decreasing gap between London and Ghanian music in an effort to capture the vibrancy and warmth shared by both cultures. They also touch on Columbian roots, Latin dance and UK Base Music.

We can't wait for them to raise the temperature on our basement dance floor this June as they're joined on the night by Peanut Butter Funk & Sounddhism DJs and resident Onyeara on warm up duties. 

As with the launch we will be celebrating a mixture of global sounds present, past and future from the Caribbean, South American and African continents as well as exploring the outer peripheries of disco, funk, soul, highlife, dub, hip-hop, broken beat and beyond.
