The Get Down w/ Subculture Sounds

The Get Down returns to The Book Club basement every Friday, with resident and host Jimmy Plates joined at the helm by his weekly guests. This is Block Party business so expect nothing more than the best urban sounds and the music that it stemmed from, ranging from disco, funk and soul, to hiphop, trap, rnb and afrocentric rhythms. The Get Down is the only weekly party in Shoreditch you need to know. So Get to Know!

Subculture Sounds:

In between tour dates across the UK & Europe as one half of hip hop duo “Subculture Sage” DJ/Producer; Subculture Sounds joins Jimmy Plates for The Book Clubs weekly Block Party. Expect a packed dance floor and super friendly crowd as these to weave through genres and get your feet moving!

Music policy: R&B, hip hop, disco, funk, soul classics.

Time: 8pm - 2am

Price: Free before 9pm, £5 after.
