Event Details

Join us at the only supper club in London wherein being an idiot is seen as a charming advantage.

THE IDIOCY:

1. DROP YOUR FAVOURITE TOPIC INTO A HAT: From Houdini's greatest tricks to Victorian bicycles, no interest is too weird.

2. DRAW A TOPIC FROM THE HAT AND MEET YOUR DINNER COMPANION: You'll be an idiot in comparison to vastly superior knowledge.

3. SWAP SEATS WITH THE PERSON TO YOUR RIGHT: Now it's your turn to educate them on your wonderful topic of interest.

4. STAND UP AND SHARE THE WISDOM: You have 3 minutes to sum up all you have learnt.

THE DINNER:

As you stun and startle with your debonair wit and charming conversation, you can snack from our delicious platters which will be available throughout the evening. Please note drinks are not included.

Platters are to share

Salt and pepper calamari & aioli, sticky glazed BBQ ribs, harissa chicken skewers, halloumi & roasted veg kebabs, homeade falafel & tzaziki dip, served with thick hand cut chips and chipotle ketchup

Vegetarian alternatives are available please just let us know!

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, The Book Club generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through The Book Club, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
