The Get Down w/ Santero

The Get Down returns to The Book Club basement every Friday, with resident and host Jimmy Plates joined at the helm by his weekly guests. This is Block Party business so expect nothing more than the best urban sounds and the music that it stemmed from, ranging from disco, funk and soul, to hip hop, trap, rnb and afro centric rhythms. The Get Down is the only weekly party in Shoreditch you need to know. So get to know!

Santero: Santero has been rocking dancefloors across the world for well over a decade, carving a reputation as one of the most versatile party-starters in the business. Having shared the decks with everyone from Jazzy Jeff to Diplo to Basement Jaxx. He’ll be joining resident Jimmy and mixing up the genres all night!

Music policy: R&B, hip hop, disco, funk, soul classics.

Time: 8pm - 2am

Price: Free before 9pm, £5 after.
