Ijoya (ee-jo-yah) - ‘Time to Dance’

Ijoya is back again for another funky sesh! After throwing several parties in Manchester, we’re hosting our first London party to show you Londoners how we get down. At our parties we play the finest 70s Afrobeat, Afropop & Dancehall tracks from across the globe. Ijoya is directly connected to our African inspired clothing brand, Mojo Kojo. Our fabrics are ethically sourced from Nigeria and are wonderfully handmade by local seamstresses. We’ve got clothes for just about everyone, bumbags, shirts, shorts, dresses and two piece outfits!

For this Ijoya edition, we are incredibly lucky to have DJ collective, Boko Boko playing with us! They are an all female group all about supporting women in the music industry. They hold regular workshops for women who are keen on learning how to produce beats and they have also hosted several shows on Radar Radio! They’re all about the tun’ up, playing the grooviest sounds from Kuduro, Kwaito, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Tropical and Funky.

Price: £4 before 12am / £5 after

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, The Book Club generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through The Book Club, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
