Flushed cheeks, a racing heart and clammy hands are some of the outward signs of being in love. But what is happening inside our bodies, is there a scientific way to prove that we are actually in love?
Using William Shakespeare’s sonnets and the law of thermodynamics, scientist and chemistry researcher Dr Michael Londesborough explores what love is and demonstrates what it means to be in love proving that when it come to love we seem to be at the mercy of our biochemistry, part of the DNA´s strategy to pass on a genetic code. Is there anything we can do about it?
