The Time I Almost...

A fun and utterly unique event that’s part-storytelling, part-confessional and wholly entertaining!

Alexis Strum is your hostess (with the mostess), as she and a smorgasbord of comedians and storytellers come onstage to celebrate their best 'Sliding Doors' moments with you.

In case you've never heard of her, Alexis is the girl who wrote the book on failure (literally) with her laugh-out-loud blog and memoir, 'The Time I Almost...', charting her abortive attempts to become a popstar, supermodel, movie star and international spy!

And if you're a budding storyteller and would like to share your own ‘almost’ or ‘nearly’ story with the audience, simply email thetimeialmost@gmail.com with a pitch for your 3 minute story. Maybe you nearly became an Astronaut, maybe you almost married Channing Tatum? If chosen, you can either read your story out yourself at the show, or we will arrange a reader for you. And guess what, the best story on the night (according to the audience vote) will win the 'Almost Oscar'! Whoop!

So come along, sit back and enjoy being entertained- we promise you plenty of Schadenfreude, a lot of laughter and maybe a little bit of 'closure' too!

Tickets are £7 on the door, £6 in advance and £4 concessions.
