Every Sunday The Book Club welcomes DJs, Selectors and collectives to join us for a sit-down Sunday session, mixing up a mixture of Funk, Soul, Reggae, Dub, Disco and more throughout the afternoons! There will be table tennis, table football, beers, burgers and beats a plenty as our selectors take you on a journey through their record collections from 3pm – 8pm every week!
Nottingham's own Adam Prescott is one the most exciting new producers in the UK Digital Roots scene. With support and guidance from Mark Iration (from the Leeds based Iration Steppas), Adam has quickly established himself as one of the key players in the re-emergence of British Reggae, with first class original songs featuring the likes of Cornel Campbell, Brother Culture, Sugar Minot, Ranking Joe, Rod Taylor, Johnny Osbourne & Tippa Irie to name but a few. This Sunday however, he’ll be digging his way through his wider selection of records including dub and disco, a smattering of funk and soul as well as the Reggae and Ska we have come to associate with Adam and his Reggae Roast crew!
