The Get Down w/ Jimmy Plates & Spin Doctor

The Get Down returns to The Book Club basement every Friday, with resident and host Jimmy Plates joined at the helm by his weekly guests. This is Block Party business so expect nothing more than the best urban sounds and the music that it stemmed from, ranging from disco, funk and soul, to hiphop, trap, rnb and afrocentric rhythms. The Get Down is the only weekly party in Shoreditch you need to know - so get to know!

This weeks guest is none-other than Spin Doctor! As resident and founder at The Doctors Orders, Spin Doctor needs no introduction to The Book Club, his sets span everything from original hip-hop samples to more modern trap, grime, hip hop and r’n’b as well as Afrobeat, dancehall, reggae and more. This ones guna go off!

Music policy: R&B, hip hop, disco, funk, soul classics.

Price: Free before 9pm, £5 after.
