Nothing beats the
magic of female vocals over big Disco anthems. So much so that The Doctor’s Orders have decided to
focus an entire evening of dancing to the Queens
of Disco. Handpicked DJs, London’s best party basement and feel good music
from start to finish.
Heavyweight DJ Yam Who? is one of the leading forces in the Disco DJ scene. As well as starting the incredible Midnight Riot record label, their Disco edits fill dancefloors all over the globe and get love from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Danny Krivit, Horse Meat Disco, Late Nite Tuff Guy, DJ Harvey and loads more.
Joining them will be The Doctor’s Orders very own Spin Doctor, who has spun at more Disco parties and has more Disco records than you’ve had hot dinners. We also welcome (all the way from Boston, USA) Saucy Lady. Known as the ‘Beantown Disco Queen’, her experience runs deep in DJing, singing AND songwriting. Saucy Lady is an expert in the field, so knows a tune or two when it comes to music by the true ‘Queens of Disco’.
