The Get Down w/ Jimmy Plates & Sacha Kella

The Get Down returns to The Book Club basement every Friday, with resident and host Jimmy Plates joined at the helm by his weekly guests. This is Block Party business so expect nothing more than the best urban sounds and the music that it stemmed from, ranging from disco, funk and soul, to hiphop, trap, rnb and afrocentric rhythms. The Get Down is the only weekly party in Shoreditch you need to know - so get to know!

This weeks guest is none-other than Sacha Kella. As head Honcho and resident of Clarks Bashment parties There is no doubt that Sacha Kella knows his Afrobeat, Socca and Bashment but as we welcome him to The Get Down we cant wait to see him span across a multitude of genres and styles as he plays one of his now infamous party sets that you can catch him throwing down at festivals around the UK and Europe every summer.

Music policy: R&B, hip hop, disco, funk, soul classics.

Price: Free before 9pm, £5 after.
