The Get Down w/ Jimmy Plates & DJ Odin

The Get Down returns to The Book Club basement every Friday, with resident and host Jimmy Plates joined at the helm by his weekly guests. This is Block Party business so expect nothing more than the best urban sounds and the music that it stemmed from, ranging from disco, funk and soul, to hiphop, trap, rnb and afrocentric rhythms. The Get Down is the only weekly party in Shoreditch you need to know - so get to know!

This weeks guest is none-other than DJ Odin. As tour DJ for the likes of Rizzle Kicks Dj Odin has travelled the world plying his trade and as such his sets reflect this world view of music. Combining solid roots in crate digging and turntablism to bring you the finest in Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Dancehall, House, Garage and party bangers blended together with wit and precision, this is a guest not to be missed.

Music policy: R&B, hip hop, disco, funk, soul classics.

Price: Free before 9pm, £5 after.
